On September 29 Thomas Wong will deliver the closing keynote speech for AIA Utah's Fall Conference "Transformations: The Evolution of Design & Practice" at the Natural History Museum of Utah.
His talk is titled Perspectives: Civic-Minded Design and Practice in an Uncertain World. As we exit the pandemic, we find ourselves in a seemingly more polarized world of increased uncertainty and fragmentation, exacerbated by economic risks and global instability. How can architecture respond to this moment and context? Where are the opportunities within our practices and our projects to support positive social connections? Thomas Wong shares Ennead's approach to these questions.
