Ennead Principal Jarrett Pelletier and Associate Principal Kate Kulpa will be in Philadelphia this week to participate in a panel hosted by Facades+. Titled "Pleated Facades and a New Quality of Care: Jefferson Health Specialty Care" the panel will cover Jefferson Health’s Honickman Center. Jarrett and Kate will be joined by Matthew Naugle of New Hudson Facades and Charles Norman of National Real Estate Development to discuss the process of developing and fabricating the dynamic sculptural glass façade of the new Specialty Care Facility.
The Honickman Center brings a new technological revolution to healthcare in a rapidly growing neighborhood. Forging a new architectural identity and brand for Jefferson Health, the building is clad in a sculptural glass façade composed of compound curved ‘pleats’ recalling the city’s history of textile innovation. The facility establishes a strong new presence and sets the direction for the institution’s further development.
