The Ennead team was on hand to celebrate with our long-standing client The Public Theater at the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the Delacorte Theater in New York’s Central Park. Reopening in Spring 2025, the revitalized Delacorte Theater, designed by Ennead, will enhance accessibility and comfort, provide better circulation, increase resiliency and sustainability, make meaningful infrastructure improvements, and offer a more dynamic aesthetic experience with a new exterior.
“We are proud to be a part of the revitalization of the Delacorte Theater, as we re-envision one of New York’s most iconic cultural experiences to make it more dynamic, welcoming, and accessible for all,” said Stephen P-D Chu AIA, Principal at Ennead Architects.
This is the latest project in Ennead’s long history working with The Public, following the completion of the façade and public spaces at their flagship location on Lafayette Street and the renovation of the Rehearsal Annex, part of a five-phase master plan.
