Ennead is pleased to share that the Gary L. Thomas Energy Engineering Building at The University of Texas at Austin has been certified LEED Platinum. [It is the first Platinum project on campus.]
A multidisciplinary hub for energy-related education, research and innovation, the building provides approximately 184,300 gross square feet of engineering and research space on six levels and houses classrooms, labs and project spaces to connect students, faculty, researchers, and industry partners. The Gary L. Thomas Energy Engineering Building (GLT) helps the Cockrell School of Engineering establish a new approach to the energy sciences and together with the Engineering Education and Research Center (EERC), advances the school’s strategic and programmatic needs.
