Ennead Partner, Thomas Wong, AIA presents at the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums' (MAAM) 2024 Building Museum Symposium this week. He will share a case study on the Jean and Ric Edelman Fossil Park and Museum of Rowan University.
Thomas will present "Development of a World-Class Museum based on a Deep-Time Perspective" alongside Andrew Sniderman, Senior Associate at KSS Architects, Kenneth J. Lacovara, PH.D., Founding Executive Director of Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University, and Michael G. Lewis, Executive Creative Director at G&A.
The panel will discuss this landmark project which serves as a place for research, education, and community engagement, and creates a pipeline for future students. They will also share strategies for developing a new museum and maximizing the value of the museum experience. They will explore how the project uses its historical context to advance Rowan’s institutional mission, and illustrate design strategies to reduce environmental impact.
