Ennead Principal Jarrett Pelletier and Ennead Associate Principal Kate Kulpa will join AIA Philadelphia and the Building Enclosure Counsel (BEC) on March 18th to share a case study on Jefferson Health's Honickman Center. Along with Matt Naugle from New Hudson Horizons, they will discuss how a successful design assist collaboration enabled this ambitious facade design to be realized, and how shared design development and thoughtful decision-making turned challenges into opportunities.
Forging a new architectural identity and brand for Jefferson Health, the Honickman Center is clad in a dynamic sculptural glass façade composed of compound curved ‘pleats’ recalling the city’s history of textile innovation. The facility establishes a strong new presence and sets the direction for the institution’s further development.
