彼得‧诺顿交响乐大厅
该新建剧院项目将众人瞩目的交响乐大厅与著名的塔利亚剧院合二为一。
While Symphony Space was sorely in need of modernization, the quandary became how to retain memories, reinforce identity and distinguish their space from the luxury rental units being developed atop them.
除了对原有的827席位的交响乐大厅剧场的修复之外,塔利亚剧院的功能性改造亦值得一提。
改建项目包括了舞台末端歌舞表演所需的辅助配置,包括后台相关设备用地、新建大堂和售票厅、新建办公区及垂直环流和机械系统。
该建筑亦为周边民用住宅的底层建筑群楼——妥善利用了项目本身尚未使用的上部空间。
这座由环环相扣的面板、玻璃、铝和水泥石膏块组成的现代主义艺术作品坐落于纽约市西95街和百老汇交界处。
建筑构造框架上由内至外包裹的铝制悬臂亦彰显了剧院本身较周边建筑的与众不同。
