Guangzhou Urban Resort and Fashion Collaborative

Planned as part of a newly-zoned Central Area of Pazhou in the Haizhu District, city of Guangzhou, this design was meant to serve as a symbol of the company’s growth, innovation, and future creativity. It uses an architectural style that embodies a timeless Internationalism while being progressive; an iconic presence that respects its context while employing modern materials and containing green design principles while being efficient and economical.

The concept of this design is to bring the feel of a luxury resort to the everyday lives of residents. Our team created an exclusive ‘urban resort’ environment for living, working, and playing.

Situated along the Pearl River, the architectural forms were inspired by the nautical luxury of ocean liners and private yachts. The building's façades reference this idea. They're light and bright, eloquently proportioned to accentuate the building’s tall narrow proportions. The white color enhances the architectural silhouette and subtly reflects the colors of the sky throughout the day.

The first floor is a collection of commercial spaces, a cultural center, and offices. An innovative double lobby design with one lobby to the north, and one to the south, allows the building to accept and organize the flow of people in different directions.

The outdoor terrace on the 13th and 14th floors is designed as a residential sky lobby. It serves a wide variety of functions, housing a swimming pool, sauna, game room, restaurant, and more.
